You have received a letter from us because we have been instructed by the original creditor to settle an outstanding claim with you. The claim originates from a contract that you entered into with this company.

In order for us to contact you and explain everything transparently, the creditor has provided us with your contact details and information about the claim.

Sometimes we also contact you because you are mentioned as a representative, guardian, or lawyer of another person in the matter of the claim. In that case, you are registered as the correspondence address and receive all relevant information.

Even if you are unsure, please do not ignore the letter. Simply contact us by email or phone. This way, misunderstandings can be clarified and further reminders can be avoided. We will review the case together with the original creditor. If the claim is unjustified, we will stop the process immediately.

Sometimes the name of our client is not directly recognizable. This may be due to the fact that you have used a payment service provider when placing an online order, who is now the rightful claim holder.

If you cannot assign the claim, please ask us - we will help you and provide you with the original creditor. If you are sure that you have never ordered anything, please also check for possible identity theft. You can find information on this at the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).

You can easily pay via the link in our letter or email. There you will find all information about payment - whether by bank transfer or PayPal. It is important that you only use the payment methods provided by us.

If you are unable to pay the outstanding amount all at once, we offer you an installment payment. You can request this directly in the payment portal. We will review your proposal and get back to you as soon as possible.

If you have already paid the outstanding amount, please send us a proof of payment via email to mahnungen@inkasso.debtist.de.

Important: We do not send an automatic confirmation when a payment has been received by us. If you have sent us a proof, you don't need to do anything else - we will take care of it.

No. After you have been contacted by us, the correspondence is handled exclusively through us. Direct contact with the creditor is no longer necessary.

In most cases, you do not need to contact us separately to resolve the case quickly. All important information - including payment link and details about the claim - can be found directly in the letter you received from us.

Because we receive many inquiries daily, it helps if you first check all the information in the letter. This way, your request can often be processed more quickly.
