Our goal was to make our receivables management more efficient and to replace the collaboration with two debt collection service providers with a unified solution. With Debtist, we have not only simplified our processes but also improved our response rates. For me, this project shows that choosing the right partner makes a real difference – both for operational efficiency and for economic success.

The success story

International receivables management from a single source

An international business model needs a receivables management system that reliably covers different customer structures and markets. Everphone therefore wanted to simplify the processing of outstanding receivables while at the same time improving realization. With Debtist, the company found a partner that combines both requirements and consolidates the previously split receivables management into a single centralized process.

01

Challenge

As a Device-as-a-Service provider, Everphone takes care of the procurement, provision, and management of mobile devices for its business customers. The rental model entails regular payment obligations. Even with a consistent internal dunning process, some receivables remain outstanding and must be processed externally.

Before working with Debtist, Everphone used two different debt collection service providers for this purpose: one for smaller customers and receivables, and another for international cases. This split led to fragmented processes, additional coordination requirements, and increased administrative effort for the finance team.

At the same time, Everphone was not satisfied with the previous level of receivables realization. The international coverage also did not fully meet the company’s requirements. A central solution was therefore sought that would cover different customer structures and markets, simplify internal workflows, and enable better results in realizing outstanding receivables.

02

Solution

Since July 2025, Everphone has been working with Debtist and has consolidated the processing of its outstanding receivables with a single central partner. The previous division according to customer size and international receivables is therefore no longer necessary. Instead of coordinating different service providers, the finance team benefits from a unified process.

Debtist takes over the processing of the transferred receivables, relying on digital processes and a multi-channel approach to debtor communication. Email, letters, SMS, and phone calls are used as different contact channels to reach payers and resolve outstanding receivables. International cases can also be handled within the cooperation.

The digital Debtist dashboard also creates transparency regarding ongoing cases and their processing status. This enables Everphone to track receivables management centrally without having to coordinate between multiple external service providers.

03

Result

The collaboration with Debtist shows positive results for Everphone both economically and organizationally. In a direct comparison of three debt collection service providers to whom receivables were transferred under the same conditions, Debtist achieved the highest realization. This confirmed Everphone’s aim of recovering more from receivables that had already been dunned internally.

The processes within the finance team have also improved. By consolidating receivables management with one provider, the previous division of cases and the associated coordination with different service providers have been eliminated. This reduces administrative effort and makes it easier to manage outstanding receivables.

For Everphone, this means above all one thing: Realize more outstanding receivables successfully while at the same time relieving its own finance team. The combination of better results and more efficient processes makes Debtist a permanent component of receivables management.

We handle dunning for our B2B customers ourselves, consistently and with very good response rates. Nevertheless, there remains a portion that can no longer be collected internally. We transferred exactly these receivables to three debt collection service providers under the same conditions. Debtist realized the largest share and is now our partner for receivables management.
